The RVWS is a curated literary arts reading series that celebrates world-class writers from Vancouver and beyond. RVWS organizes four to six readings per year and often collaborate with other local or national arts and culture organizations. In the Spring 2019 literary showcase, Syahidah Ismail will be featured alongside five other writers from Vancouver and Toronto.
The writers are are C.E. Gatchalian, Minelle Mahtani, Cassy McFadzean, Jaye Simpson and Jocelyn Tennant.

Syahidah will be performing a reading from her forthcoming book, Saltwater Spirits. She will also be selling limited numbers of advanced copies.
