Hello there. Allow me welcome you to my little corner of the Internet. My name is Syahidah, and I’m a writer and author.
I’ve always been a writer. As a child, I would write in my journal about what I ate for lunch that day. As a teenager, I scribbled down poems about the state of the world. Eventually, my non-academic writing morphed into creative non-fiction which included poetry and stand-up routines.
A few years ago, I decided to pursue writing full-time. I started working on a manuscript for my forthcoming book, Saltwater Spirits, in 2016. This summer, my book will be launching across all platforms – on Amazon, Kindle and in good ol’ hardcopy.
